In our story, there are two characters that are best friends. One of these boys had a really dark past and he wants to forget it so he became friends with an innocent person so he can be influenced by him. The first scene is played when the two boys go out on their bikes and have a laugh and a little scene of the 'masked figure' is first shown to the audience. The next part is when the boy with the dark past starts to have nightmares in his sleep and this is shown by the boy moving around in his bed and wakes up straight away. He then hears noises and goes to investigate where the sound is coming from. He opens the door and finds a mask on the floor and starts to investigate. He questions his thoughts on whether he had seen the mask before or not and he decides to go with a previous Halloween mask that he had purchased before. He then turns around and then looks back at his shoulder to see the mask has suddenly disappeared, he thinks hes going crazy so he slaps himself in humor since he thinks he is dreaming or just seeing things. Since he has witnessed this, he decides to call his friend and try help him out. The friend comes over to see whats going on and then they investigate together. The main character starts to hear noises and nudges his friend on the shoulder and asks if he can hear the noise. He replies with an 'are you trying to take the piss? Cant hear anything man. You must be joking!' This will make the audience then realize that this is a psychological thriller since only the boy with the dark past can see and hear the things. There is a short flashback scene to what happened in his past and that would be the plot twist because the audience will know the full story by then.
The character with the bad past is called Jefe and his friend is called Jamal. Jefe is the key character since it is his past that the audience get to see and that past is the main cause of this story since whatever happened to his past has suddenly decided to come back and haunt him now. Jamal is the innocent boy that is also best friends with Jefe and he is really scared of ghosts and anything supernatural so when Jefe asks for help he thinks that Jefe is toying around with him. Another character we have is Kirah. She is the ex girlfriend of Jefe and she plays an important role in this story since it is she that comes back to haunt Jefe because of the fact that Jefe had murdered Kirah in the past because of a little argument so she comes back to punish the evil.
In part one, the boys are on a normal bike ride but we then see the figure which tells the audience of the things to come. In part two,
In this story, it is very bad since we have to go back to his past to find out what happened. The part where the audience starts to get what happened to the past of Jefe is when the distruptions start. We see this from the spooky events that happen through time. jefe, the main protagonist, starts to realize through the rough days of sleep he has had, that something has come back to haunt him and he then starts to question himself if he is crazy or not. We don't see the protagonist try and resolve anything as the story ends with a note stating that whatever is haunting Jefe will never leave and keep a look on him every time. In the ending of this story, nothing is really solved, just that Jefe has to live with this horror of him being haunted and watched all the time and that nothing can change to help him.

section three: genre
three conventions of a thriller that I will use in my thriller trailer is low key lighting which creates an eery and suspense atmosphere as the low key lighting makes you not be able to see what is going on around you. another convention that I will use in my thriller will be quick shots because it builds up tension because a lot of things are happening at all vital moments. lastly, the final thriller convention that I am very keen on is the use of music that creates tension.
the sub-genre that will fit into my thriller trailer would be a psychological as you would have to think quite a bit while watching our thriller as it makes you confused at some particular scenes of it.

section four:style
two thriller camera conventions that i think are very effective are over the shoulder because of the fact it shows a shot with two people in it but one showing a persons face and the other person just the back of them is shown from over their shoulder. the other camera convention i will use in our thriller trailer is a close up which i think creates a sense of intensity because of the focus on something so for example in our trailer it will be the mask that is presented as the bad thing that our thriller is based on.
section five:
the way we are going to film this is the useo of a camera and a tripod. we will have to kepe moving both equipments around to make our trailer look effective anfd pleasing to the eye without making it look obvious we are moving the camera around.
