For our final edit, for our opening sequence, we gathered some feedback from the target audience which told us what was good and bad about it. The things most people said was good about it was that the plot was really good and how we planned out the story in our heads is the way that we actually filmed it. Another positive feedback was that they liked the fact that we had a female actress in the sequence so it was balanced out. We used a different range and variety of camera shots and angles which made it look more realistic and effective to show that is a thriller.
The negative feedback that we got was the lighting wasn't that great in some scenes, as some of the scenes were grainy due to poor lighting and the camera settings. another bad comment we had was in some scenes the acting seemed a bit fake and forced, so for example in the first scene, the fighting scene, didn't look real at times to the way we wanted it to look as it was rushed. Lastly the last bit of negative feedback we had was at the end of the sequence as we revealed to the audience the mask that had followed us from the first scene, the scene where the boys look towards the camera doesn't make sense as the audience will be confused until they see the last scene where the mask is looking at the mirror with the bloody writing 'I'LL BE BACK'. And add more music to make it more tense for improvements as currently it is a bit plain for example get the audio over the bike scene and unlocking the door but make it a bit quiet so that it isn't the main focus.
